Reviewer for Uncle Bucks new line up needed. (http://beeradvocate.com/forum/read/2577521)

Supposedly Uncle Buck's is retiring the old beers & starting anew with a new brewer. Can anybody confirm this?

It is true. Last time I was there he was almost out of the last two "former" beers.

They have renamed all the beers because of ownership - not much new there
the last couple times I stopped by. An Amer. Brown & Weizenbock -flat.
they have a long way to go.....

True the beers were a bit flat, but the weren't sour nor were they butter bombs! It's better than what Raymond had on tap!

New brewer took over sometime around October, but they wouldn't let him dump Raymond's beers until they ran out. So it's hard to say who's is who's these past couple of months.

I had his hefe a couple of months ago, and it was perfect.

Who knows how many more people they turned off to microbrew while they were still serving that stuff.

Agreed, there was an overall improvement in flavor. They are heading in
the right direction. They need to generate more traffic on a consistent
basis, which they have never been able to do. It will take great beer to
do that.
