Calling all judges and aspiring judges and people who like beer!!
Judging for the World's Largest Single Site Homebrew Competition EVER will take place over the next two weekends at Coors. March 6 & 7 and March 13 & 14 beginning at 9:00 am.
2550 McMillian Parkway
Fort Worth, TX 76137-5001
Got other plans, church, etc? No Problem: Come out all day or just a partial day. Every flight counts, so if you can only come for 1 then that is perfectly fine.
No Experience? No Problem: Experienced judges will be paired with new judges.
Hang Over? No Problem: Hair of the dog!

Yes Be There.
Nice job on the presentation last night James, some very good pointers.
Also, a nice assist from Ms. Vicki with the honey's/meads. The different
flavor profiles of the honey's were an eye opener and I'm so glad we have
a bunch more experienced mead judges now....

Sorry I missed that meeting. I'll be there judging. And emphasis on not worrying about no experience.
i'll admit, prior to the mtg last night, i was worried about 'no experience.' not as much anymore. enjoyed the presentation. don't know if i can make it at all to help on sat, but *if* i can, i am more likely to come out now, for sure.

If you ride your bike all the way there I will take you and your bike home. :)

Nick, why would I want to go home with you? That would even be farther for me to ride back.

Haha, poor choice of words on my part I suppose :)
I would take you back to your house!

That could be a funny game.
Who brought Larry home?
Best of all is if you did bring larry home then you could ensure he is there on Sunday too. Just make sure he does not hit his head on that dangerous fireplace you have.

He'd have to leave eventually, everything I would cook would have meat products in it. :)

As of the end of the day yesterday, only about 3 or 4 flights remained in first round judging.
Representatives of some of the clubs took home a flight each to finish off this week instead of meeting today to finish them. I think Matt (yeasty boy) took home the flight for the Cap & Hare.
Now on to the second round! Nice job to everyone!! That was an incredible amount of beer judged in basically 3 days.....unbelievable.

As of right now there is 1 flight left to judge. Way go to everyone.
KOBB has the last flight, they may have already judged it, just waiting on the results!
