BJCP Beer Styles

OK. Bluebonnet is complete and its time to work on the details of a BJCP class. This class will be dedicated to the Beer Styles. I will have the complete materials for anyone that is interested in the Technical section but will not have a full technical talk each class. I will provide technical sessions mixed in at some point for any new judge that would like to have that info.

By eleminating the technical, we will be able to have a little larger class (25-30). We will review each style as we go through the class.

I plan to meet again at Tony's Pizza off Rufe Snow and Mid-Cities. We will meet every other Tuesday at 7:00 beginning in about 4-6 weeks. The cost again will be $100 and I will make a trip up to Springfield so I will start collecting mid-April.

I have an exam scheduled for November 13.

Glad to see you offering this again! Last class was worth well over the $100 price of participation! I urge everyone that has any interest to sign up. You will get your $100 worth in beer alone, not including the additional information you will learn about brewing.

I would be interested in taking the class again, but I currently work until 8pm (which is why i haven't made a single meeting this year), so will have to sit this one out. I may start studying up and conciser retaking the exam in November depending on the score I received this round (if they ever publish our scores)
