View Full Version : HUGE garage sale this weekend

Some of you have already heard, but for those who haven't: Jenna and I are moving to Alaska later this month. We REALLY don't want to cart all of our stuff up there, so we're having an enormous garage sale next weekend starting at noon on Friday the 14th and ending when we pass out from exhaustion or we've sold all we can, whichever comes first.

I have a bunch of bottles and some large quantities of cleaning supplies that I'll give away, also a couple of buckets and carboys. The carboys were given to me, so I wouldn't feel right selling them -- come and get them and they're yours.

Sorry, I'm not selling any of my kegs. I'm trucking them all up with me so I don't have to start over completely from scratch. :)

Found a great opportunity to advance my career up there, and couldn't pass it or the chance for an adventure up.

Drink plenty of Alaskan Amber and of course their other selections too.

Is this short term or permanent (at least for the foreseeable future)

It's tiny, and unfortunately, no my truck is not for sale. Need it to tow the U-Haul trailer that is carting my stuff to AK.

I do have a really nice 50" HDTV for sale for $600. 1080p, DLP, with lots of inputs.

i spent some time in alaska a few years ago. had a hard time leaving, even though i was there in november-february. i'd take it in a heartbeat

Saturday morning would probably be best -- Friday after work is filling up fast for me. Probably need to cut the sale short that day.
