James is tonight at Baylor Grapevine hospital, due to be discharged Wednesday 6/9 home after gall bladder removal. Apparently he had a bad few days starting Friday noon. He was in good spirits today after surgery and gave permission for this post. I am taking him dinner tomorrow, Karl Thursday. Any volunteers email me or PM. Go , James! VB

James is home, trying to get some real sleep. I emailed all the food volunteers, hold off till he is feeling a little stronger. Apparently even thinking about real food is painful today. V

No wonder he didn't answer his phone. I thought he was just being a jerk. Well, I will drink one for you James! And Vicki let me know if there is anything I can do. I don't mind swinging by to chat with him if he is up to it, but I know it is tough when you are fresh out from under the knife.

Why? It's not like his gall bladder has anything to do with processing fats. I'm heading over there now with a ultimate cheeseburger from Jack in the Box and a 7 piece Chicken Express meal.


Luckily beer is fat free.

need to add bacon to that burger. any burger without bacon is just not worth eating.

Thanks gang. food is starting to stay down, as soon as energy levels start building, I will be good to go. Beer will be a while off, a few other priorities. Yes strange from me but its the case.
