Anyone have any brewing equipment for sale? I am looking to try all grain soon and need to start gathering equipment. I would also like to buy a keg system. If so send me an email at gwstanford@gmail.com.
Thanks,
Gerald

Kegging Kit
Keg Connection dual body ball lock kit (http://stores.kegconnection.com/Detail.bok?no=324)
This is one of the most popular starter kits arround. everything you need to start kegging 2 at a time, and easily upgradable to 4 or 6 kegs!

MLT
Build a cooler MLT (http://www.homebrewtalk.com/f51/cheap-easy-10-gallon-rubbermaid-mlt-conversion-23008/)
I have and love this design, works great for 10gal batches upto 1.065 SG and can be built for less than $50

If you have never done all grain, I would be happy to invite you to join me for a brewday, and split a 10gal batch, you may get a better feel for what is involved, and needed. it will probably be September before I brew again though, with this damned 100deg weather

Homebrewtalk DIY Project List (http://www.homebrewtalk.com/f51/project-locator-69953/)
has a bunch of DIY guides for building most of the pieces you will need!

If you wanna go the mash cooler route, I've got a concave false bottom for a 10 gallon water cooler you can have... I'll give it to Joe to give to you... he and I used it for years before going with kegs.

If you will bring the 10 gallon cooler to the meeting next Tuesday I will take it off of your hands.

Where is the best place to buy a 15 gal converted keg? I saw a lot of people
using them at the Iron Mash but not sure the best way to buy one.

You typically build one, just get your hands on a keg.

We can build one easily in about an hour or so. I have all the tools.

I have seen the kegs in different states on homebrewer.com. Any other places I might try. They have a basic keg for 139.95. Not sure if that is
a good deal or not.

I bought my three kegs from Rahr for $30 a pop or so. Cut the tops off and added $15 or so worth of fittings. It all depends on how handy you are and how much time you are willing to spend. The $130 price tag is definitely payment for there labor.

Two Bucks Liquor will sell used kegs for $30 each. They will even let you pick through them so you can get the ones in the best condition. I think the guy that helped me out there was Dave or David.
