I've only used it once back when it was cool enough to ferment room temperature as I currently don't have a spare fridge to use for fermentation. It was nice... All the benefits of the conical... no transferring, dump the trub, save the yeast, east to clean, temp gauge... etc.
I had been using a chest freezer for fermenting with kegs, buckets, carboys etc. Conicals really need an upright cooling enclosue since you want to get to the bottom valves easily. My chest freezer wasn't tall enough inside for the conical height anyway.

Yeah, I like Stubby's use of a sliding glass door cooler.

Their prices seemed pretty decent, too. I have read about one or two folks using their conical fermenters as boil kettles by placing a burner around the bottom of the fermenter. They claimed to boil in the stainless fermenter, then drain out the trub, then aerate, pitch the yeast and start fermenting. Talk about a streamlined process. Then of course, you don't have to transfer to secondary. All of that together would save quite a bit of work.
Clint? Could this idea be next on your list of projects? Heck, maybe I'll do that one day, if I ever get a stainless conical......and time.

That stuff looks great! Even better is that they'll ship up here, unlike Blichmann, who have apparently decided that no one outside of the Lower 48 brews. :(
