Four Portland legislators joined a Springfield senator to introduce Oregon House Bill 2461, which would impose a $49.61 tax on each barrel of beer produced by Oregon brewers.

Good lord that is a huge amount of tax per bbl. Why is it that the politicians only think of raising taxes when they can't meet their budget. Why can't they cut their spending. The well is only so deep.
