There have been a few conversations revolving around getting someone to weld stainless. Nick and I are in conversation with a few different sources to arrange to hire someone to weld for a few hours, more than likely it would have to be 4 hours worth of work minimum and better 6 to 8. This would be something where we had all of the materials prepped and ready to go so that all the guy has to do is weld. We might even need to have a work day ahead of time to do all of the prepping.

This post is to see interest, if you have some work to complete, please post and state the approximate number of couplers that you would want completed.

Then we will figure out how much time would be required and cost.

I think Vicki and I have a little stainless welding that needs doing - probably 2-3 welds total on our hot liquor tanks. I'd need a little lead time to get the right fittings.

My welder in Wichita Falls charges me 10 bucks a fitting if I have at least 10 for him, "when he is in town" He welds aluminum buss overhead all over the SW. I save up kegs for him, mark-up $2.50 plus 1/2 couplings from Graingers. At that price guys grind off the sugar inside themselfs.

Just a though, might be 6-8 weeks before he's in town and 2 trips to W/F for one of ya'll.

p.s. I also do plasma cuts myself for 10 bucks

I also have access to a plasma cutter if anyone needs that service. I cannot offer any stainless or aluminum welding services though.
