its a good time and the scotch tasting. wow, if you know what you are sampling then you really get your money's worth. and if you are like me you get the first bottle they grab and its still a great value.

I'm not BJCP certified. :(
How would I go about getting certified?

To get certified you have to take and pass the BJCP exam.

You do not need to be certified to judge. You can pair up with someone that is ranked and get experience. I had floated the idea of doing another class this year but don't think it will happen but definitely will do one for next year. I may be interested in a mini-study class consisting of 5 to 6 sessions this fall and administer an exam. This would not be a full blown 11 session with all the beer styles but more of an overview if we have 6 to 8 guarenteed and deposit collected for an exam.
