This keg has been sold.
I have one keg left from my purchase of Rahr scrap kegs. I figured I would grab all I could and offer them to the club for what I paid, $30.
This keg has no spear and is ready for converting into whatever your heart desires.
Also if you are interested, Rahr also has 6-8 1/6 barrel kegs for $15, contact Tony. Most have both plastic handles, some only one is left.

The keg is sold to me. It's been spoken for and has $30 already on it. :)

Don't listen to him, Patric has one of the kegs I got. So I still have one keg available.

Is the keg still pretty? Or is it really banged up?

this is a reasonable alternative for someone who does not have cornies. I have at least one coupler that you can purchase too. there are a few things to consider if you are going this route so PM me and I will discuss. the effort may be worth it for that cost.

Indeed, they're only 1/4" wider than a cornelius style keg and the only thing you'd need to adapt would be a sanke adapter in place of the standard home-draft quick disconnects.

Problem is there is a reason they are getting rid of them! They are not fuctional.

Ah, forgot that one tidbit. I suppose you could use them as a bright tank without issue, or too much, anyway.

All kegs will hold water. Can they be used for serving beer no.
These are intended to be cut for MT, HLT or BK. There were a few at the brewery that had holes in the side or bottom that I did not get. I did not want to mess with SS welding the holes closed.

they also make a great fermenter. I want a 1/4 barrel for fermenting 10gal batches. I just need a fermentation chamber first.
