I just got done cleaning a couple kegs and for the first time, had nothing to fill the freshly cleaned kegs with. Would it be alright to just keep the star san in the keg until I have a batch to put in it?

That would be fine. Most people I know will go ahead and push the star san out with co2 and leave the keg pressurized and ready for it's next fill.

I clean mine with oxiclean, fill it with sanstar, and close it up. then push sanstar through the tap and empty the keg to fill.
I usually don't have a keg empty for more than a week, as I target new brews that will be ready about the time a keg goes empty, and worse case scanario, I love Wizens, and those can be kegged in 8 days.

This is good info. I just kegged the saison and a wheat I made. The saison ended up tasting pretty damn good.
I am cask carbonating both of these. Hopefully since they are both at or under a 10 SG, they shouldn't get too much yeast buildup at the bottom.

After the first pint, it will begin to clear up, just give Turbo the first pull.
I do the same but to add additional caution I still give a quick starsan rinse just before filling. Star San goes along ways so just a cup full will sanitize the keg and give me a reason to do a jig with a keg held high.

Not me! I've seen him dance a jig without a keg...would hate to see what he does with a keg in hand.
