I have finally started on building my steam brew system. Got the stand welded up this past week thanks to Clint. Hoping to get it completed by the end of the year. The next step is to finish the steam generator/condensate return tank platform then start on the plumbing. After that I am going to have the stand powder coated. Here are some pics of the stand.

Saw the stand and tanks at Rahr on Saturday, looks great! Is the modded keg the condensate return tank?

Looking good. I've been wondering what that steam setup was for ever since I stumbled upon it 2 years back while wandering around Rahr.

Please don't blow yourself up.

And if you do, I call whats left of the rig.

The steam generator looks similar to the steamers I use at the jewelry repair center I used to work at. Just bigger.

yep. the small electric generators are all pretty much the same. just different size and number of heating elements.

Looks great.
How much will powder coating a stand that size cost you?

I figured Mark has a lot of chili-eating neighbors and he doesn't want them using the toilet in the house...

And having the portapotty close to the welding rig means you don't have to stop welding when you have to take a break...
