Has anyone heard any rumors about this place???

Hi Friends,

Well, you've asked for it and here it is! The grand opening of a fantastic new pub & music venue in Fort Worth! Nick (Owner of the infamous Ye Old Bull & Bush pub) is opening a second place in FW... The Royal Falcon!

Seamus Stout will perform this Friday night, the 16th, at The Royal Falcon's grand opening celebration. We go on at 9PM, but please get there early for a good seat... this place will be hopping! The Royal Falcon is located on the Camp Bowie traffic circle, next door to the venerable German eatery - Eidelweiss (3801 Southwest Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76116). Nick Gregory, the finest Publician West of Cowboy Stadium, is always a great host and throws a
fine shindig!

Please come out and support this new Celtic music venue. As I've said before, there are few enough places to hear fine Irish & Scottish music in D/FW. Let's show Nick that we'd like him to stick around.

See you all there!

Yep. Glad they are finally getting it open. I had heard about it from Nick (Bull and Bush).

Anyone happen to make it out to the grand opening? If so, how was the place?

Rob and I were there, with some friends of ours from work. An impressive array of beers on draft, and a few of the regulars in the cooler. They also had what appeared to be a pretty good selection of scotch, Irish, and other whiskys. Music was good; only drawback was the amount of smoke, though it cleared up a bit after some more fans were turned on.

We even strolled next door and had dinner at the Edelweiss restaurant. Mmmm...German pork ribs...
