View Full Version : Free - Honey Approximately 3 gallons.

Hey everyone. I have around 3 gallons of honey at the house I have no need for. I've made a few meads and have no more interest in them.

It's wildflower honey, no specific type. It's a bit dark but for anyone wanting to bump gravity on beer, make a mead for the first time or just wants to roll around in a pile of honey, you can't beat free.

It's around 30-35lbs of honey in total.

I'd really like to split it between two club members if possible.

I say the cost is free, but in reality you will have to come to my house to pick it up and you will probably have to have a beer or two while you are here. Oh darn.

if someone needs a smaller amount I have 2x 5# (1 quart) jars of wildflower honey that I would be happy to give away. I can even bring them to the bigbrew, BJCP class, or meeting.

Lumpher and Mr. C will you be at the big brew?

I know my intial post said you had to come pick it up, but I'll bring it to the big brew if you guys want to figure out how to split it up. It's in a 5 gallon bucket that I'd like to keep. I will see if I have any containers to split it into.

I'd like a few pounds, as much as you are willing to give. Hopefully you still have some left after all the other early birds responded. I won't be at the Big Brew tomorrow, but I can swing by some time this coming week.

My wife really enjoys the mead I've made.

I will bring both 5# jars i have as well, for those that don't need nearly as much honey.
