I am looking to find a good home for my original mash tun, just needs the fittings.
It has a hole drilled mid-way up the side, so a weldless thermometer or patch will have to be installed in order to use it. I originally had all Zymico weldless fittings, and worked great. Would be a great way to get into all-grain, and the fittings will transfer to a larger cooler or sanke keg if/when you decide to make a change. Due to the location of the temperature probe you need to do at least 8 gal. batches for the liquid level to reach the probe; will handle 10 or 11 gal. batches up to about 1.055 with no problem.
