Anyone got a fruit press, suitable for pressing the juice from a large number of tiny pears?
If so, I would like to try my hand at fermenting them, as the tree may not be here a year from now. It's a very large Callery Pear tree, loaded down with much-larger-than-normal fruit, tasty and tart. With a goodly size ladder I can reach a lot, and it seems a shame to let the birds eat them all.
