Good info. I wonder if there is a more comprehensive list of sellouts.

Ironically, I ran into P. Celis grandaughter @ Dallas Craft last night. She gave me a sample of the Wit - they were there promoting the new brewery in Austin. Celis may have been the 1st to sell out to Miller/Coors, then get shut down and brewery stuff sold as scrap. I don't have the details, and could be wrong about some of this, it was a while back.....I used to like the Pale Bock.

The daughter of Celis has been trying to buy the name back for years and finally succeeded. At this point Celis can be considered craft, I don't believe she's in bed with any of the big boys:
