Default Volunteers Needed - Bluebonnet Brewoff Tap Room

Cap and Hare members, we need a few volunteers for serving at the Hospitality Suite. I did this last year and it was SUPER FUN! There are really cool changes this year so read carefully.

You need to be a TABC certified server before you pour a beer. It's a short online program and the cost will be reimbursed. If you took the exam last year, it's good for 2 years so you don't have to take it again!

I need 2 volunteer pourers, (+1 backup), and a Tap Manager for each time slot.
The Tap Manager is someone that takes 2 beers of tap, and selects which beers to replace them with. If a keg blows, the Tap Manager gets to decided which beer to replace the blown keg with. This person needs to be a little technology savvy as they'll be using a mobile app to chat with a bot that will find the beer online and update the digital tap list!

A volunteer pourer can also be the Tap Manager as well, just state that you'd like to take on that role when you volunteer.

Friday, 2pm-3pm
John Shank
John Mosher
Mike Treadway (backup)

Friday, 3pm-4pm
Karl King
Sean Vreeland
Brian Schoolcraft (backup)
Mike Treadway (Tap Manager)

Saturday, 11am-2pm (Beer Pairing Lunch)
Chris Crowley
Amy Jones
James Trimble
Chris Bradley (backup)

Just reply to this thread and tell me which slot you'd like!

I'll take the backup during the beer lunch to help facilitate what beers need to be tapped.
