Default Club Bar - Bluebonnet

I don't recall seeing another post....

Are we having the Club Bar at the Bluebonnet?

Got Beer to Bring?

If my memory recalls, it needs a little work, all new lines....

I will help clean it if someone else will volunteer to transport it and set it up at Bluebonnet and wrangle the club for kegs (this could be 3 different people). I would even willing to store it at my house to get it sparkling the week before Bluebonnet (I'll even help clean it before we store it again if someone is willing to drop it off at my house and pick it up to haul it to storage within a week).

Get it to your place and figure out a time and I'll try to come out and help clean and/or get the new materials together, Brian. I really wanted to get it going for the Christmas party, but it's in desperate need of TLC on all levels. Taps are tightly jammed up, lines were left with beer in them, disconnects were left unclean, and it's just generally dirty from semi-outdoor storage.

Suggestion: Club purchase or member donation of a tarp or extra large grill cover to help reduce the need for cleaning and maintenance prior to the next use. Also, a requirement to clean the lines and taps prior to storage.

I may have a keg of pale ale by then. Second brew of the special hop Cluster pale ale. But would likely need someone to hold onto it for me after the event.

ok, we need someone to get it here, and then be able to haul it from my place to the hotel. I would help set up at Bluebonnet but will be running the People's choice and won't have time, we need a volunteer to do that and get a list going of who is bringing beer and coordinate (and make sure we have ice CO2 etc).

The tarp is a good idea, I think Harbor Freight has them on sale right now.

I have an extra 12' x 16' heavy duty tarp from Costco you can have.

Do we have anyone bringing kegs for the homebrew tasting at Bluebonnet?

There is another thread on that topic:

Stubby is working on getting the bar cleaned up and ready. Do we have anyone to wrangle kegs and organize at the event??
